How long will it take?

An Initial Osteopathic Consultation will take up to 1 hour.
A Standard Osteopathic Consultation will take approximately 30 minutes.

How much will it cost?

An Initial Osteopathic Consultation will cost $120.
A Standard Osteopathic Consultation will cost $100.

Do I need a referral?

A referral is NOT required.

What should I wear?

Clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable.

You will remain fully clothed during a treatment, however if your presenting complaint is in the upper or lower extremity easy access to these areas is advisable.


What is involved with a Consultation?

An initial Osteopathic consultation involves taking a complete medical history, a thorough osteopathic examination and treatment.

A Standard Osteopathic Consultation involves a brief history or review of the last consultation and Osteopath treatment.

Do you have HICAPS?

Yes, we do provide health fund rebates.

How much does my health fund cover?

Health fund rebates depend on your provider and the level of cover you have.

Can I pay by Eftpos?

Yes, we have Eftpos facilities available.

Is Osteopathy covered by Medicare?

Osteopathy is not covered by medicare unless you have a chronic disease management plan. However, this requires a referral from your GP.

A chronic disease management plan is issued by a General Practitioner and allows patients up to 5 visits over a 12 months period with an Osteopath at a subsidised rate.

To receive the rebate you must first pay the standard consultation fee, then the medicare rebate will be processed and deposited into your chosen bank account.
